How to Make a Guitar Pedal Case

If you have a variety of effects pedals and need to transport them from one place to the other in safety, then you could definitely use a pedal case. Production cases can be quite expensive, so why not use this alternative that is not only functional, but a bit stylish as well.

Things You'll Need

• Briefcase or suitcase Velcro Scissors

Instructions

1. Ensure you have enough height clearance inside the case for it to close properly.

2. Open the briefcase and determine where you want your pedals placed inside.

3. Cut the Velcro in strips to fit on the back of your pedals neatly.

4. Affix one side of the Velcro to the pedals and the other side in the case in the desired position.

5. Mount pedals inside the board by pushing down firmly.

6. Plug in all the patch cables necessary to connect the pedals together in sequence.

Tips & Warnings

• Using Velcro gives you the ability to change the positioning of your pedals easily. Briefcases can be had for next to nothing if you look in the right places. Thrift stores are excellent places to find second-hand cases.
