How to Get Olias in Guild Wars

Guild Wars features a system of recruiting henchmen to fight alongside your character through the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns. Heroes, introduced with the Nightfall expansion, are a stronger breed of henchmen that you can outfit and alter to your party's needs. Olias is a one of the few necromancer Heroes in Guild Wars. As you unlock necromancer skills, Olias will become a versatile Hero well-suited for any party setup.

Instructions

1. 

   Complete "The Time is Nigh" quest. The Time is Nigh is part of the Nightfall campaign available after reaching Sunspear rank of Sunspear Captain or attaining level seventeen. Speak with Castellan Puuba in the Sunspear Great Hall of Istan to begin The Time is Nigh if you have not already completed the quest.

2. 

   Speak with Dinja at the Consulate Docks in Istan to begin the quest "All for One and One for Justice" once The Time is Nigh quest is complete. One of the rewards for All for One and One for Justice is unlocking Olias.

3. 

   Travel to Lion's Arch in Kryta after you have accepted the quest.

4. 

   Head toward the south-west part of the area and speak with Lionguard Figo. Accept his request after you have formed your party. You will be sent to Bloodstone Fen in Maguuma Jungle.

5. 

   Speak with Olias and prepare to battle a couple of groups of Thorn Stalkers that will immediately attack. When you appear in Bloodstone Fen, you are entered into quest mode, which means that if your party is wiped out, the quest will have to be restarted.

6. 

   Follow the green asterisk on the Mission Map (press U to make it appear) and defeat the monsters along the way. You will fight several groups of Jungle Trolls, White Mantle Zealots, White Mantle Seekers and a White Mantle Abbot.

7. 

   Follow the trail, fighting White Mantle soldiers along the way, until you reach the base of the plateau. When you arrive at the base, Erulai the Inimical will speak. Make sure you party is healed and buffed before proceeding.

8. 

   Run up either of the two paths and fight Erulai the Inimical atop the plateau. Erulai the Inimical is a level fifteen Necromancer that uses the Blood Magic skills Life Siphon, Shadow Strike, Unholy Feast and Well of the Profane. The fight will end when Erulai the Inimical is brought down to ten percent of his hit points.

9. 

   Fight the demons that appear out of a portal. Erulai the Inimical will summon a group of demons through a portal to act as reinforcements. The demons will kill him, then attack your party. Defeat the Blades of Corruption and an Arm of Insanity to end the quest mode and return to Lion's Gate.

10. Travel to Kamadan of Istan via the Map and speak with Clerk Arlon, who is standing outside the gate to the Consulate zone. Accept the reward and Olias will be unlocked.

Tips & Warnings

• If you do not own Prophecies, Olias can be unlocked by spending 3000 faction points at the Great Temple of Balthazar. If you choose Hard Mode, your henchmen and Olias will be elevated to level twenty for the quest.

• You will only have access to level ten henchmen recruited out of Lion's Gate. Bring higher level Heroes with you for the quest.
