1
Roll your pink or purple piece of paper in to a cone shape. Adjust the top of the cone so that there is a small hole. This will allow you to add tulle later on.
-
2
Staple your cone shaped princess hat in place once you get it adjusted correctly. You can tape it shut if you don't have any staples, but staples will hold better.

3
Take a piece of tulle, preferably white or pink, and pull some up and through the top of the hole in the cone. It should stay like that, but you can add a dab of glue underneath to make sure it stays in place.
-
4
Use your glue to add fake jewels all around the rim of the cone. You can purchase fake jewels at any craft store like Michael's or AC Moore.
-
5
Place some circular globs of glue in different spots around the rest of the cone shaped princess hat. Then shake some glitter over the glue. When the glitter dries it will shine.
-
6
Punch a hole on the left and right side of the princess hat. Be careful of the jewels. The holes should be at least 1/2"-1" away from the edge of the cone.
-
7
Thread a piece of ribbon through the left hole and tie in to a knot. Allow enough ribbon to hang down to tie under your chin. Then thread a piece of ribbon through the right hole and tie a knot. The two pieces of ribbon should be long enough for you to tie them into a bow under your chin.

Tips & Warnings
Instead of ribbon you can staple elastic to the sides of the hat.
If you use a hot glue gun, you will need to get a parent to help you. Hot glue guns can cause nasty burns as they get really hot.
