Placing the ads correctly on a web page will make you money but it does take some time and work. In my experience, with good content in a few months you will earn a income from Google AdSense.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

When you build a web site or web page you need to think about its content and what your web site is about. Google AdSense has several different ad styles to choose from. AdSense ads can be text or image ads and they have a new and improved search box that can be made to look like your web page. I like to use text and image ads in the banner form placed at the bottom of a article. These ads usually do very well. They now have Adsense for feeds, domains and mobile applications.

  2. Step 2

You need to make sure you do not have anything that says click on these ads or anything pointing to a ad,this is a violation of Google's terms of service. The Google AdSense ads need to blend in with your web site page and look part of the page. Folks that serf the internet get banner blindness if your ads are to flashy and are different looking then your web page. Try not to change your ad layout once you have it on the web page. The Google AdSense ads that are long skyscraper ads can be placed down the side margins of a page. Make sure the back ground color of the ad is the same as the web page. You can also change the fonts of the Google AdSense ads to match the fonts on the page you are using.

  3. Step 3

Your page title and content should be the same so that Google will place the type of ad on the page to match. This is a big mistake if you do not do that. The ads on the page will only reflect the title and content of the web page most of the time. Readers read the article they have been looking for and there is your Google AdSense ad at the bottom of the article and most likely they will investigate the product since that's what they are interested in. You can also go to Google.com/adsense/support and they have a picture of where the best place is for ads on your web page .I have found this very useful in setting up a page with AdSense.

Tips & Warnings
  • You must never click on your own ads.
