Step 1
Create your sauce. There is no limit to the direction you can go with your sauce. You can mix a little soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, Accent, or just come from “left field” with the ingredients of your sauce, as long as it’s appetizing.
-
Step 2
Taste your sauce as you go along for just the right flavor. It’s important to get a second, and maybe even a third opinion on the value of your sauce, and be prepared for constructive criticism.
-
Step 3
Clean the beef really well and it won’t hurt to boil your meat on high heat for 10-15 minutes. Doing so will not only sanitize your beef but it will also make it a little more tender.
-
Step 4
Place the meat in a good size pot, add your sauce and place in the refrigerator. Allow your meat to marinate in the sauce overnight.
-
Step 5
Remove from the fridge early the next morning but you can let the meat continue to marinate. Later on, place your meat on the grill, and from here, the veteran 4th-of-July barbecue aficionados know what to do from here.
