When I was a kid, I used to be so scared to get poison ivy rashes. I don't know why, because I never saw a poison ivy plant ever. If you get a rash from poison ivy, you have nothing to be afraid of. It can be treated very fast and effectively.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

A good product to treat poison ivy is Calamine lotion. Calamine lotion can be bought at most drug store or grocery stores in your area. The way you use it is pretty much how you use any lotion. You pour some in your hand and you rub it into the affected area.

  2. Step 2

One other way to treat Poison ivy is to soak affected area in a bath of oats. The oats will release natural chemicals that will heal your affected areas.

  3. Step 3

Treat the poison ivy rash with Aloe Vera. Break off a piece of an aloe branch and use it to rub on your infected skin.
