Things You'll Need:
- Freeview Box
- Scart Cable
- Antenna

Step 1
To start off, it depends if you have a DVD player, Video player, or any other electrical appliance attached already to your TV.
-If you have nothing connected go to - STEP 2.
-If you have a DVD Player connected go to - STEP 3.
-If you have a Video Player connected go to - STEP 4.
-If you have both connected/or more go to - STEP 5. -
Step 2
As shown in the image the set up is fairly simple.
- The aerial cable is connected to the aerial socket and then the other end is connected to the Freeview box (usually marked with 'Ant. In')
- Another aerial cable is then plugged into the back of the Freeview box (usually marked with 'Ant. Out') and then connected to the aerial socket in the back of the TV.
- A scart cable is attached into the back of the Freeview and then into the back of the TV. -
Step 3
If you have a DVD player connected aswell and you still want to use it then follow the following steps;
- The aerial cable is connected to the aerial socket and then the other end is connected to the Freeview box (usually marked with 'Ant. In')
- Another aerial cable is then plugged into the back of the Freeview box (usually marked with 'Ant. Out') and then connected to the aerial socket in the back of the TV.
- A scart cable is attached into the back of the Freeview and then into the back of the TV.
- In the picture associated with this step, it shows the scart cable from the DVD Player being attached to the Digital Box, this isn't recommended if you are not very good at using your TV. What you should do, is connect a scart cable to the back of the DVD Player and (probably how it is set up originally) attach this cable to the back of the TV (unless the TV only has one scart socket) -
Step 4
If you have a Video player attached follow the following steps;
- The aerial cable is connected to the aerial socket and then the other end is connected to the Freeview box (usually marked with 'Ant. In')
- Another aerial cable is then plugged into the back of the Freeview box (usually marked with 'Ant. Out') and then connected to the back of the VCR (video player) (usually marked 'Ant. In)
- Then use an aerial cable to connect the VCR to the TV by connecting it to the 'Ant. out' of the VCR and 'Ant. In' of the TV
- A scart cable is attached into the back of the Freeview and then into the back of the TV.
- In the picture associated with this step, it shows the scart cable from the Video Player being attached to the Digital Box, this isn't recommended if you are not very good at using your TV. What you should do, is connect a scart cable to the back of the video Player and (probably how it is set up originaly) attach this cable to the back of the TV (unless the TV only has one scart socket) -
Step 5
If you have both a DVD Player and a video player (or other devices) then follow the following steps;
- The aerial cable is connected to the aerial socket and then the other end is connected to the Freeview box (usually marked with 'Ant. In')
- Another aerial cable is then plugged into the back of the Freeview box (usually marked with 'Ant. Out') and then connected to the back of the VCR (video player) (usually marked 'Ant. In)
- Then use an aerial cable to connect the VCR to the TV by connecting it to the 'Ant. out' of the VCR and 'Ant. In' of the TV
- A scart cable is attached into the back of the Freeview and then into the back of the TV.
- In the picture associated with this step, it shows the scart cable from the Video Player being attached to the Digital Box, this isn't recommended if you are not very good at using your TV. What you should do, is connect a scart cable to the back of the video Player and (probably how it is set up originaly) attach this cable to the back of the TV (unless the TV only has two scart sockets)
- Finally the DVD Player should be connected to the TV directly, using a scart cable
