How to Invest in Bear Market Funds

Don't worry about the next bear market and invest in bear market funds. Earn money in a bear market to protect your portfolio!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Bear Market Funds can keep the bear market from ripping your portfolio apart. Bear Market Funds are designed to prosper in sinking markets. You can utilize these funds to help hedge against a bear market in your portfolio.

  2. Step 2

To invest in bear market funds you first need to find the right bear market fund for your portfolio. I have included a link in the resource section that lists all of the available bear market funds.

  3. Step 3

Once you have found the right bear market fund for you, write down the ticker symbol for the fund. If it is an ETF fund then the ticker symbol will be three letters long. If it is a mutual fund then the ticker symbol will be four letters long.

  4. Step 4

Next, make the trade. Log onto your online brokerage account and place the trade the same as you would a stock. Simply enter in the ticker symbol for the bear market fund, number of shares, and the price you wish to purchase them at. Click "Place Trade". You are now invested in bear market funds.
