How to Use Your Subconcious Mind
What the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve. The problem that most people do not understand is that the mind consists of two components: the conscious mind and the subconscious mind. Using your conscious mind requires no special effort, because your conscious mind is on "automatic." The conscious mind thinks on its own. Although the subconscious mind is more powerful than your conscious mind, you will never realize how powerful it is until you actually begin to use it. When you start using your subconscious mind, you will begin to see changes in your life and start to realize many of your dreams and desires that have been hidden and buried for a long time.

1
Make a list of goals or desires that you want to accomplish in life. These can be short-term goals, such as purchasing a new car, or long-term goals, such as starting and running your own successful business.
-
2
Find a quiet place of solitude that is free from interruptions. When you are trying to get in touch with your subconscious mind, noises can be a distraction. Turn off the television, cell phone and radio. Sometimes being outside in nature or near water can help you focus on your inner mind.

3
Envision yourself actually accomplishing one of the goals that you listed in Step 1. If you desire a new car, picture yourself riding in the new car. Imagine that you can actually smell the new leather. Picture yourself putting the keys inside the ignition and driving your new car off the car lot.
-
4
Visualize yourself jumping over any obstacles or roadblocks that have appeared to try to stop you from realizing your dreams and goals.
-
5
Verbalize what you see yourself doing. By verbalizing your goals and dreams, you are literally telling your subconscious mind what to think. It does not matter what you see with your natural eyes; if you keep speaking to your subconscious mind, you will begin to believe that what you are telling yourself is actually possible. Once you believe it, you will achieve it.
-
6
Be careful of the thoughts that you allow to enter your subconscious mind. If people around you are speaking against what you are believing and speaking to yourself, you might have to disassociate yourself from those people. If they are speaking negatively of your dreams and desires, they are literally killing your dreams, replacing them in your subconscious with their negative words.
-
7
Keep alive the vision that is in your subconscious mind. Test drive the new car. Take a picture of you in the new car, and place it on your bathroom mirror. Visit that vacant building. Walk around in the building and pretend that you are giving orders to the moving crew as they move in your new office furniture. Whenever your natural mind begins to doubt, revisit your subconscious mind, and begin to imagine again.
