How to Create a Flash Video Gallery

Many people are creating highly popular sites by posting Flash videos that visitors can watch on the site. If you'd like to have a Flash video gallery on your site, do it easily using YouTube. And the best part is that when people play your videos, they will be using YouTube's bandwidth, not yours.

Instructions

    • 1

Create videos you want to upload on YouTube. They must meet YouTube content standards and be smaller than 100 MB per minute and a maximum of 10 minutes long. YouTube accepts most major video formats for upload.

    • 2

Open an account with YouTube. Then go to your account page and click "Upload a Video." Click "Upload Video" again and browse until you find the video you want to upload. Once YouTube uploads your video, the conversion process will take a few hours. When the video is uploaded, visit the page it's on.

    • 3

Pause the video. To the right, in the blue section, find the label "Embed." Click on the blue button next to it to customize the way your video will look when you put it on your page. You can decide on background color, borders and more. Highlight the code and copy it.

    • 4

Open your web page editor and click on the screen where you want the video to play. Open the HTML coding window, and paste the embed code into the HTML. The video will probably not play when you preview.

    • 5

Publish the page to your website. Once it is up, the video will play on any computer that plays Flash. Repeat the process for all your videos.
