How to Use Lotrimin
Lotrimin is a medication that treats fungal infections like tinea cruris, tinea pedis and tinea corporis. It is applied topically to the affected areas twice a day for two to four weeks. The active ingredient, clotrimazole, clears the infection by destroying the fungus and its spores to prevent further asexual reproduction. Lotrimin must be prescribed by a doctor and used under his guidance.
