Step 1
Contact an advertising agency. A high-paying advertising career can be had with an agency that coordinates many different types of advertising, or they may be with one advertiser that has only one type of advertising available. Some advertising agencies specialize in one things, such as billboards or bathroom advertising while others uses different types of advertising media.
-
Step 2
Look for specialized media positions. Jobs in advertising are available in newspaper offices and at radio and TV stations. All of these businesses keep in-house sales people to sell their advertising spaces to local or national advertisers. This may include helping to create the advertising message, such as writing the text ads or the radio message. Sometimes it just means designing an advertising package for the client.
-
Step 3
Offer to work hard for less to get your foot in the door if you don't have a degree or any advertising experience. Some people are able to break into advertising careers by doing free or low-pay internships to gain experience in the industry. Entry level jobs in advertising don't pay much, but someone who works hard and learns the industry can parlay that entry level job into a lucrative advertising career.
-
Step 4
Design mock-up ads if you don't have any experience. Create your own advertisements for local businesses and present them to prospective employers. This will show them what you are capable of if given the chance. Many employers want to give their jobs in advertising to those with this kind of creativity and drive.

on 9/16/2009 I eventually got a 4 great job options to choose from, and I finalized on the most lucrative one. My dad was elated, my mom was emotional. After all those days, this was not expected. I definitely recommend Hound services for those who are seriously lurching in their career. There are many better avenues which one might not know, but thanks to Hound and Harrison Barnes, those secretive job listings are now in the open. Heartiest thanks to Hound….you certainly googled me a fantastic job!
