Things You'll Need:

  • Bowl
  • Orange
  • Water
  1. Step 1

    The first thing you will want to do is get a bowl fill it with water. Now take the orange and slice it in to quarters. Put the oranges in the bowl of water and set in microwave. Set your microwave to 5 minutes; Make sure you have enough water in the bowl. Once done let sit for one –two minutes. Be careful when removing the hot water bowl.

  2. Step 2

    Now take a wet cloth and wipe the inside of your microwave, all of the stuck on food will come off. If you have, some stubborn stains take a little cleanser and scrub gently rinse well.

  3. Step 3

    Your microwave will smell fresh like oranges. Using the water and oranges once a week will leave your microwave sparkling clean. You can wipe the inside of your microwave down with warm soapy water in between the orange cleanings.

Tips & Warnings
  • Cleaning your microwave one a week with oranges will help to keep a fresh smelling microwave.
  • Be careful when removing the hot bowl of water.
  • Only use a microwave safe bowl.
