Replacing your ink cartridge can be quick and easy. With this guide, you can be printing in no time!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Ink cartridge
  1. Step 1

Make sure you have the correct ink for your printer. This can be found in your owners manual, on the internet and/or on the ink cartridge itself.

  2. Step 2

Turn on the printer. Determine where the ink cartridge is in the printer. This can be found in the manual as well. Once you find the cartridge holder, lift the lid or open the compartment. The ink cartridge holder should come into view.

  3. Step 3

Carefully remove the used cartridge. This can be done by unsnapping the cartridge or just by pulling the cartridge out.

  4. Step 4

Open the new ink cartridge and reomve any packaging and tape. Handle carefully as to not stain your hands with the ink or corrupt the cartridge. Insert the cartridge remembering to align color with color and black with black.

  5. Step 5

Close the lid/compartment and wait to hear the printer accepting the cartridge. You may be asked to print a test/alignment page. This is normal. Once this has been done, you are ready to print again. Enjoy!
