For those long flights or boring in-law visits, it's always nice to have a movie to keep you busy and entertained. Getting movies on your iPod is easy, cheap and fun!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • an iPod
  • iPod connector cable (to your computer)
  • computer/laptop
  • iTunes
  1. Step 1

To get a great collection of movies on your iPod you need to make sure you have two things: an iPod and a computer. With these two items, you're on your way to getting all the movies you want..TO GO!

  2. Step 2

Once your computer is on, attach your iPod to the computer with the connector cable (if your iPod didn't come with one you can pick one up at any computer store, Best Buy, etc.) Open the iTunes application on your computer and let the shopping begin! When you attach your iPod, it will show up in your iTunes. This is where you will transfer all your movie downloads to.

  3. Step 3

Now, go to the iTunes store and click on left side of the application. This will access the iTunes store and you can now begin your search. You will see various categories but you will be getting movies so click on movies. If you know the titles your searching for, go ahead and type it in the top right hand corner otherwise, you can just browse at your leisure.

  4. Step 4

Click on the movie and the download will begin. Obviously, you need to pay for your selection, so you will go through the process of iTunes asking if you want to make the purchase. The download may take a while but once it is finished, click on the title and drag it to your iPod icon located on the left side of the iTunes app. Once you've properly transfered the movie to your iPod, go to the movies tab of your iPod and there you will find your newly downloaded movie! Enjoy!

Tips & Warnings
  • Make a list of movies so your search is more efficient
  • make sure not to disconnect your iPod until it says to (this can erase or improperly place the download)
