How to Design Custom Magnetic Signs

Custom magnetic signs allow you to advertise your business without ever opening your mouth or paying another dime for advertising expenses. A custom magnetic sign goes on your work vehicle and promotes your business, notifying people of your services without any extra work on your part. It is part of a smart business plan.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Choose a size

A magnetic sign meant for advertising does not have to be obnoxiously large in order to properly promote your business, but it should be a size that is easily read from at least a car lengths distance away.

  2. Step 2

    Include your business telephone number

Contact information is the most important part of magnetic sign advertising. When people decide that they would like to research your services, they are going to reach for the phone (including business website doesn't hurt either). Make your phone number easily accessible to the eye on your magnetic sign.

  3. Step 3

    Include business name

Clear and easy to read, include your business name on your magnetic advertisement.

  4. Step 4

    Add a little "flair"

What is it that your business does? To design a custom magnetic sign in the way to best promote your business, make the sign themed appropriately. Whether you use colors or actually images to get your point across is up to you, but keep the magnetic sign clean looking so as to not turn off the potential customer.

  5. Step 5

    Represent your company carefully

Custom magnetic signs are an excellent way to advertise, but you need to be especially aware of who will be driving the vehicle, representing your business brand name. A custom magnetic sign means that the way the person drives, dresses and behaves will be associated with your business name; use the sign wisely!
