Zero percent credit cards are highly coveted by cardholders, and with the number of individuals who are in debt, its no wonder. However, not just anyone can get these kinds of credit cards easily. There are a few different ways to find them and the goal of this article is to help individuals do just that.

    Evaluate your Credit Report.

    The best way to get a zero percent credit card is to have excellent credit. Most individuals do not have excellent credit, but by making the effort to have the best credit possible, they can receive more offers for zero percent credit cards. All individuals can obtain a free credit report once a year from www.AnnualCreditReport.com which will give them insight into their credit score and how they can make it better. All debts should be regularly paid on and preferably with more than the minimum payment. This will make it easier to find 0 percent credit cards.

    Visit www.BankRate.com.

    One great way for individuals to find zero percent credit cards is to visit www.Bankrate.com. This website allows individuals to compare interest rates on a number of things, from loans to credit cards. By visiting, individuals can compare interest rates with credit cards and find zero percent credit cards that they can then apply for. Bankrate.com even has the links to the different credit card companies that they talk about on the website.

  3. Step 3

    Checking with Your Current Credit Card Company.

    Most credit card companies offer different types of cards. Individuals looking for zero percent credit cards should check with their current credit card company to determine whether a card is available that suits their needs. By calling the card company and speaking to a representative, individuals can discover whether or not the company has a 0 percent card that the cardholder is eligible for.

    Build a Reputable Credit History. Individuals will have a better chance of finding zero percent credit cards if they continue to build a reputable credit history. All debts should be paid on time and no large balances should be allowed to accumulate.
