Things You'll Need:
- PC
- Television
- VGA Adaptor
- S-Video Cable
-
Step 1
The most important thing to do is recognize which input type your TV has. If you don't know you will buy the wrong cable and waste your time and money.
-
Step 2
There are three types of input, the coaxial cable input, which your cable and satelite are hooked into. The RCA Composite, with the white, red, and yellow inputs. The final is the S-Video Connector.
-
Step 3
Identify your computers outputs. Most computers have TV compatible outputs. The VGA output in which the monitor is hooked up is the most common output.
-
Step 4
Get an adapter. VGA adapters are the easiest and most convenient. They connect to the VGA output on your computer and on the other end can hook up to any of TV inputs.
-
Step 5
Wireless adapters, though they cost more are the best. You don't have to worry about compatibility, input and output, cables, etc.
-
Step 6
Use the adapter cables and connect your PC with your TV. Using your TV remote search for the computer signal.
