  1. Step 1

    Lets begin by saying that losing weight isn't easy, but it doesn't have to be boring. You can start by making a goal. it could be to lose weight to be healthy, or to look good. Get clear why you want to lose weight, because lets face it, if you don't really want to it won't happen. So make the decision of why for yourself. You are in control.

  2. Step 2

    Start by keeping a food journal, even if you don't exercise. I want you to write down what, and how much you eat. This is going to bring your eating habits into your awareness. Eating has more to do with weight than excercising. That is why many so called skinny people are not actually in shape. They don't exercise, but they do watch what they eat. I am not saying to stop eating, or to give up meat.

  3. Step 3

    I believe its not even what you eat, but how much. The beginning will be challenging. You will need to cut back an carbonated beverages, if you want to lose the weight you will need to drink water. Flavor it if you have to, but please start slow. One bottle of water a day, and if you can do more, than my hats off to you. Also snack, don't wait til lunch, or dinner.

  4. Step 4

    Do eat breakfast, just eat a little less than usual. Do however take a break every couple of hours and eat a snack, not a meal. This will keep your metabolism going, and also lower your hunger, because you won't be starving yourself. Pay attention to what your eating, fast food is good, but not all the time.

  5. Step 5

    Start taking some vitamins, and atleast do some physical activity. Remember to stretch first. Turn on the radio, and dance. It doesn't matter what you do as long as you do something. Don't give up, even if you don't see results right away, know it is working on the inside. You are getting stronger everyday, and be patient with yourself. You will get there, and it will be the best present you give yourself.
