Things You'll Need:
- 1.5-2 ounces vodka
- 1-1.5 ounces orange liqueur
- 2 ounces pomegranate juice
- .5 ounce lemon(or)lime juice
-
Step 1
I prefer to use Absolut Citron Vodka, Cointreau, POM, and fresh squeezed lemon/lime juice (Filtered to reduce pulp). Typically at this step I like to add a pinch or two of sugar to the fresh squeezed fruit juice to sweeten it up a little.
-
Step 2
Pour the Absolut, Cointreau, POM, and lemon/lime juice into a shaker with ice. I prefer to make my ice from filtered water rather than by using tap water as it contains chlorine and once melts into the drink can ruin the taste. Also, if you have the time, fresh squeezed and filtered POM juice would also be a good thing to consider here as well because most of the store bought juices come from concentrate and i have noticed that it never tastes as good as fresh fruit juice.
-
Step 3
Shake until the outside of the shaker has frost on it. After that, strain into a chilled glass and enjoy responsibly
