Things You'll Need:
- Seashells Rope Glitter Plastic toys Craft glue

Step 1
Write the child's name around each side of the frame. Draw it freehand or use stencils to make it look neat and professional. Use a simple color such as black or blue to complement the metal or wood frame. Use the child's first name, first and last name or even their initials for a custom-made touch.
-
Step 2
Glue seashells and rope around the frame. Inexpensive seashells and braided rope can make any frame become a reminder of the sea. The seashells should be in scale with the rest of the frame. They can be shellacked to make them last. Glue the seashells in the corner of the frame and then glue rope to link them. This will remind the child of any beach trips they may have taken.
-
Step 3
Paint a rainbow on the frame. Rainbows are easy to paint. They make a playful addition to any frame. Use small amounts of paint. Paint on stripes in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. A child can help you paint and learn about colors at the same time.
-
Step 4
Add glitter to the frame. Glitter can be purchased in many crafts stores. To add glitter to the frame, gently place a small amount of adhesive over the areas you are planning to cover in glitter. Sprinkle small amounts of glitter over the adhesive. Do not use too much or the picture will be overwhelmed. Allow to dry overnight.

Step 5
Glue small plastic toys to the frame. Small toys such as stars, sailboats and hearts are available from crafts and party stores. They can be glued to the picture frame to serve as a reminder of a Valentine's Day celebration or trip to the ocean.
