How to Create E-books From Microsoft Word
When you have some information you want to share with the world, making an e-book about it is a great way to get the word out. But once you've written your book in Microsoft Word, you won't want to give others access to that document--they could change what you've written, or even worse, put their name on your work and distribute it as their own.

When you have finished writing your e-book masterpiece in Microsoft Word, it's time to make a book cover. You can find templates online or create your own with the Drawing toolbar in Microsoft Word. This should be placed at the beginning of the e-book.

Once you have your e-book formatted and designed exactly the way you want it, you need to put it in PDF form so others cannot change what you've written. You can find free PDF-making software on the Internet, as well as versions for sale.

It is as simple as "printing" your e-book from Word into your PDF maker. This converts the text into PDF form. Select "File," "Print," and then select the PDF maker from the printer drop-down menu. This begins the conversion process.

Save the ebook, and you are ready to sell or give it away.

Tips & Warnings
One complaint about PDF files is that no security features exist to keep people from sharing your e-book with others who have not paid for it.
