Open up the WinAVI iPod/PSP/3GP/MP4 Video Converter. Prepare to do the conversion by clicking on the button in the bottom center of the screen that has a downward-facing arrow on it. This is the "Convert to other media type" button, which is for MTV conversions. Once you click this button, a conversion window will open.

Select the MP4 files for conversion. If you select the wrong file, you can click on the "Reselect" button to start the selection process over. If you are converting more than one MP4 file, you can use the arrows to put the files in the order that you prefer.

Configure the output location for the MTV files by clicking "Browse" near the field under "Output Directory." You can select any location on your computer as the destination for the new MTV files when they are created.

Make any quality adjustments to the audio or video by clicking on the "Advanced" button. For a Chinese MP4 player, the default settings are optimal for playback. Click "OK" on the Advanced screen when you are done. To start the conversion, just click the "OK" button on the conversion screen. The progress and time left until complete will show on the screen. When the conversion screen tells you that the process is complete, click "OK" and look for the new files in the output destination that you selected.
