How to Open a Swiss Army Watch

      Place the Swiss Army watch face down on a soft cloth.

      Locate the grooves around the outside of the case back and adjust your wrench to fit on the grooves. The three prongs on the wrench can be adjusted to fit various sizes of watches.

      Secure the watch case opener wrench in three of the grooves around the outside of the case and twist the wrench counterclockwise half a turn.

    • 4

      Use the tips of your fingers to continue twisting the back of the watch until it is completely loose. Remove the watch back.

    WARNING: Changing a watch battery requires special tools and knowledge. You can very easily turn your expensive watch into a piece of junk that will need to be repaired by a professional at a much higher cost than the $10.00 it costs to have a battery professionally replaced. Trust me I know. :(
