Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Nonstick pans Water Dish washing soap Dish cloth Dish towel Rubber spatula Nylon pot scrubber Powdered dishwasher detergent Stove top
  1. Step 1

Scrape the pan with the rubber spatula to remove as much food residue as possible. Place the pan under running water as you are scraping with the spatula.

  2. Step 2

Squirt a small amount of dish washing soap onto the nylon pot scrubber and squeeze the pot scrubber under warm water to get it sudsy. Place the nonstick pan in the sink and use the pot scrubber to scrub every surface of the pan. Make sure the pan is free of all traces of food.

  3. Step 3

Rinse the soap from the pan by placing the pan under warm running water. Dry the pan with a dish towel.

  4. Step 4

Place the pan on a stove top burner. Remove food that is stuck to the pan by filling the nonstick pan almost to the top with water. Add one tablespoon of dishwasher detergent. Boil the mixture and then reduce the heat to simmer for approximately ten minutes. Pour out the mixture and scrub the loosened food with the nylon pot scrubber.
