      See Resources for a download link of PSP Manager - 1.0. In the download link's website, select the blue download button. Underneath "Download Locations," select a mirror download. A mirror download is a download that comes from another website other than the one you are currently on (e.g., You use download.com, but the file is from Newegg.com).

      Unzip the file with WinZip, or another ZIP file-extracting program, once the download is complete. To unzip the file, right-click it and select "Unzip." Connect your PSP to your computer using the USB cord. Open the PSP memory stick folder in "My Computer." Select the file that says "PSP." Select the folder named "COMMON."

      Drag the folder you just unzipped and place it in the "COMMON" folder. Wait for the folder to load and then disconnect your PSP from the USB port. You have successfully installed PSP Messenger -1.0 onto your PSP. You will now need to install Internet onto the PSP. To obtain Internet you must have wireless Internet near your PSP. To set up a web connection to your PSP, turn on the Wi-Fi switch on your PSP. Select "Network Setup" from the main menu and select "Network settings."

      Select "Infrastructure Mode." Select "Create New Connection." Create a name for the connection. When finished, select the connection name you created. Select "Scan" to search for your Wi-Fi network and select an access point. If you can, enter your Wi-Fi security settings. If not, press the right arrow button on your PSP and select "None." In the address settings screen, select "Easy." Confirm the settings with the "x" button. You now have Internet on your PSP.

      Open the PSP web browser. Type in: File:/PSP/COMMON/PSPMSG/index.html. You will now be directed to a website named "Ebuddy.com." Select "Yahoo.mobile" and follow the setup process. You can now use Yahoo Messenger on your PSP.
