How to Tease Hair Really Big

Instructions

1. Make sure your hair is dry. Use a straight iron or a flat brush to comb through and flatten your hair, freeing it from tangles.

2. Separate a 1- to 2-inch section of hair to tease. Smaller sections will have tighter results, while larger sections will result in looser results. Clip remaining hair away securely.

3. Hold the section of hair by the ends straight upward from your scalp and away from your head and hold it steady it with one hand. Use your other hand to place the comb into your hair near the ends, and comb your hair from the ends toward your scalp. This will cause the hair to bunch in the direction of your head. Release the section and use your hands to smooth and arrange the outer hair.

4. Repeat process on all sections to be teased. If you make a mistake and feel the results are too big, smooth the section gently by combing normally with your comb or fingers, and begin again. Use hairspray to finish.
