How to Make a Balloon Spider
This is an inexpensive way to decorate for your Halloween party, and each child can take a friendly spider home as a party favor.

- Black Curling Ribbons
- Scissors
- Address Address Labels
- Adhesive Tape
- Black Construction Paper
- String
- Halloween Stickers
- 2 round, black balloons

Blow up two round black balloons. Make one balloon larger for the body.

Tie the balloons together at the knotted ends with a piece of string.

Cut eight 1-inch-wide strips of black construction paper.

Fold the paper strips like an accordion.

Tape them to the body of the spider at the sides.

Use white address labels and stickers for the eyes.

Tie a long piece of string or black curling ribbon to the head and body joint and hang your spider from the ceiling.

Keep balloons out of the reach of young children. They can swallow pieces of a balloon and choke.
