Step 1
Open a browser and enter http://www.redtube.com/ into the address bar. For this guide, I am using Mozilla's Firefox browser. The welcome screen will feature a warning about the website's content. While it is possible that you stumbled upon RedTube and thought it was just another YouTube type of site hosting videos of general appeal, you probably are already aware that RedTube focuses on sexually explicit videos.

Click "ENTER" to open the home page of RedTube. Near the top of the window under the RedTube logo is a set of tabs navigating to different parts of the site. The "New Videos" tab is opened by default and features the latest videos added to the website. Under the thumbnails for the videos is information related to the video. From top left to bottom right, you can see the duration of the video, its numerical rating out of five, the number of views the video received, and a number of red or gray stars representing the video's rating.

Step 3
Click the "Categories" tab. The Categories panel organizes website content by theme, listed in alphabetical order. Clicking any of the thumbnails will open a list of videos associated with the selected category.

Click the "Live Cams" tab. A new tab is opened for the website LiveJasmin.com. LiveJasmin.com is not a part of RedTube content, so close the new tab if desired.

Click the "Dating" tab. A new tab is opened for RedTubeDating, an offshoot of RedTube.com. You must be registered with RedTubeDating in order to peruse its content.

Click the "Premium" tab. RedTube hosts a number of videos that require a subscription to view. Clicking on any of the videos in this area will take you to an account activation page. If you are not interested in paying to view videos, return to the home page or select one of the other tabs.

Click the field next to "Search" and type in any keywords. When you click "Search," RedTube will browse its video library then present a selection of videos related to the keywords you entered. The list generated by "Search" can be organized by newest videos, when the video was uploaded and top rated videos, based on viewer rating.

Click any thumbnail to open that video in the browser. The video will play automatically as it loads. To the left of the video, you will find related information. There are five stars colored red or gray to denote the video's rating from zero to five stars, a count of ratings the video received, and who uploaded the video. RedTube uses Flash video at low quality by default. A subscription to the website is required to view higher quality videos online and to download videos. However, viewing the low quality clips is free.
