      Visit your local pharmacy or department store and purchase a no bite nail polish. Mavala (see Resources section) has made a good nail polish to stop individuals from biting their nails.

      Shake the bottle of no bite nail polish to blend the ingredients. The ingredients may settle while they are sitting on a shelf, so you need to shake it.

      Paint the no bite nail polish on each nail. Don't worry if you are not a female, the nail polish is clear. You only need to paint on one coat.

      Give the polish a few minutes to dry or use an automatic dryer made for nails.

      Take your fingers out of your mouth every time you go to bite your nails. This will become easy to do because the nail polish will taste awful. Eventually, you won't put your nails in your mouth at all because you will be conscience that it will taste bad.

      Repeat every four to five days. You may need to do this more often if you wash a lot of dishes or your hands have other frequent exposure to water. Continue using the no bite nail polish until you notice that you are no longer biting your nails.
