Bookmark a Page in Firefox

Firefox has an easy-to-use bookmarking system that allows you to keep track of all of your favorite websites. Follow these simple instructions to learn how to bookmark a page in Firefox:

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Navigate to the website that you want to bookmark, either by typing the URL into the address bar and hitting “enter,” or by searching for the website using the Google search bar.

  2. Step 2

When the site has loaded, navigate to your menu bar at the very top and click on “Bookmarks,” whichi is the fifth option. A new menu will display.

  3. Step 3

Select the first option “Bookmark This Page.” A window will pop up saying “Page Bookmarked.”

  4. Step 4

You can also edit the details of the bookmarked page before saving. By default, the name of the website will be automatically entered into the “Name” field. You can change this to something else to make it easier for you to find in your Bookmarks.

  5. Step 5

You can also change the folder that the bookmark will be saved to, if you are using folders to organize your Bookmarks. When you bookmark a page, the default folder is “Bookmarks Menu.” Using the scroll menu, you can choose another folder in your Bookmarks section. You can also create a new folder by clicking the small button to the right of the “Folder” field, and clicking “New Folder” at the bottom of the menu.

  6. Step 6

To view a bookmarked page, again navigate to “Bookmarks” on your browser's menu bar. At the bottom of the bookmark menu, you will see a list of your current bookmarks.
