- 4 soft yellow bananas, 1 ½ cups flour, ¼ cup sugar, 1/16 teaspoon salt or salt to taste, 2 tablespoon vanilla, 1/5 teaspoon nutmeg, 1/5 cinnamon, a large bowl, a frying pan or skillet, ½ cup extra vir

Step 1
The yellow bananas that must be peeled and crushed.Crush the bananas in a large bowl, add the sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and stir for one minute

Self-rising flour in a bowlAdd the flour to make a creamy paste.

Skillet, frying pan ready to be heatedHeat the frying pan – skillet on low to medium fire.

Pouring out the olive oil.Pour in ½ of the amount of oil and allow it to heat for 2 minutes.

Batter that will be friedUse a large kitchen spoon to pour in 3 spoonsful of the batter, and allow it to fry for 4 minutes or until golden brown.

Flipping over the frittersTurn over with a spatula and allow it to fry on this side as well – golden brown.

This set of fritter is readyRemove from the skillet when the 2nd side is fried.

Repeat the process from step four using the remaining oil and batter until all of the batter has been fried.
