Fill your porch and trees with spooky ghosts this Halloween. After the holiday, take the ghost bags and fill them with leaves to make compost for your garden next spring.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

Plastic Grocery Bags
Poster Paints
Permanent Markers
String
Permanent markers
tall, white kitchen trash bags

Step 1

Use a tall, white kitchen trash bag for a large ghost.
Step 2

Use a white plastic grocery bag for a small ghost.
Step 3

Stuff the bottom of the bag with plastic grocery bags or leaves - just enough to make a head shape.
Step 4

Tie off the bag with a long piece of string.
Step 5

Paint black eyes on the ghost's head.
Step 6

Tie the ghost in a tree or along the porch.

Tips & Warnings

Don't let toddlers play with plastic bags; they could suffocate.

on 9/29/2009 Thanks, my family and I will construct our little ghost family tonight and string them around the yard! :-) Stuffing the ghost's head with grocery bags was a great idea!! :-)
