How to Make a Trash Bag Ghost

Fill your porch and trees with spooky ghosts this Halloween. After the holiday, take the ghost bags and fill them with leaves to make compost for your garden next spring.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Plastic Grocery Bags
  • Poster Paints
  • Permanent Markers
  • String
  • Permanent markers
  • tall, white kitchen trash bags
  1. Step 1

    Use a tall, white kitchen trash bag for a large ghost.

  2. Step 2

    Use a white plastic grocery bag for a small ghost.

  3. Step 3

    Stuff the bottom of the bag with plastic grocery bags or leaves - just enough to make a head shape.

  4. Step 4

    Tie off the bag with a long piece of string.

  5. Step 5

    Paint black eyes on the ghost's head.

  6. Step 6

    Tie the ghost in a tree or along the porch.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't let toddlers play with plastic bags; they could suffocate.
