Do a Deep Conditioning Treatment
Do a Deep Conditioning Treatment

Some people have dry and brittle hair. These are tips on deep conditioning for your hair.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

First thing is to shampoo your hair. The best kind of shampoo is a hydrating shampoo, preferably one with natural herbs and ingredients. You do not want one that will dry your hair out. A lot of shampoos have alcohol in them which can be very drying. Rinse thoroughly with hot water.

  2. Step 2

Next put a deep conditioner through your hair. Rub through your ends real good. Depending on how dry your hair is you might want to use a lot of deep conditioner. Satuate your hair with it. Let sit on your hair for atleast 20 minutes. You can leave on longer if need to. Rinse out with cooler water. The cold water will help close hair's cuticle with conditioner in it.

  3. Step 3

Then put on a hydrating conditioner. Let sit for atleast for 5 minutes. The best conditioners will be thick in substance like how thick a lotion is. Some conditioners have a watery substance. These are light conditioners for fine thin hair. Make sure the conditioner is for hydrating and a good brand. Rinse with cooler water.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can switch step 2 and 3 around.
  • Try not to blow dry your hair but let it air dry.
  • Limit your shampoos. Try to only shampoo your hair every other day. If you need to wet your hair, use just a conditioner.
