A Chrysler 300 can tow light trailers. Without a hitch, the trailer isn’t going anywhere. To install a trailer hitch on a Chrysler 300, just follow the steps below to continue.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Get your vehicle up in the air and support it on jack stands.

  2. Step 2

Next, you have to lower the exhaust pipe. To do this, remove the hangers that hold the pipe in place. Make sure you support the exhaust because the exhaust will fall.

  3. Step 3

There are some holes we are going to use to mount the hitch. The holes are usually in this order, a small one, then a big one and a small one again in that order. Find those holes.

  4. Step 4

Install the trailer hitch onto the vehicle. Makes sure the hitch is lined up in the center. Then mount it up and torque down the bolts.

  5. Step 5

Reinstall your exhaust hangers and you are good to go. This is only a guide. Read all instructions that came with the hitch.
