Zumba is a fun and exciting fitness program that will keep you entertained and energized at the same time. If you are already a fitness instructor or if you are just considering starting out in the fitness field, teaching Zumba would be a rewarding experience. Follow these steps to become a Zumba instructor.

  • Time to attend Zumba instructor training
  1. Step 1

    To start teaching Zumba you will need to take an official Zumba instructor workshop. This workshop will teach you the basic Zumba moves and will walk you through creating your first Zumba class.

  2. Step 2

    To find a Zumba instructor workshop near you visit the official Zumba fitness website. The direct link is provided in the resource section of this article.

  3. Step 3

    Once there select the instructor training tab. On this page all of the different Zumba training workshops are explained. You will need to complete the Zumba Steps Basic 1 or the Zumba Gold workshop to become a certified Zumba instructor.

  4. Step 4

    Now scroll to the bottom of the page and select the button that says find a workshop near you.

  5. Step 5

    Now you can search the workshops by state or by the type of Zumba workshop.

  6. Step 6

    Once you find the Zumba instructor workshop that is right for you you can easily register and pay for the workshop online.

  7. Step 7

    Now simply attend your workshop and learn all about Zumba fitness! You will be teaching your first class soon. Have fun!
