Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • egg roll wrappers
  • 1/4 lb green beans
  • 1 carrot
  • 1/4 lb ground beef (or vegetarian crumbles)
  • oil for frying
  1. Step 1

Wash the green beans thoroughly and slice it thinly. Be sure to clean the beans before slicing then set it aside. Slice the carrots thinly, same size with the green beans and set aside.

  2. Step 2

Prepare the onion. Chop it finely and also the garlic. Then set aside. In a skillet, heat the oil in medium heat. Sauté the garlic and onion until brown then add the ground meat. Cook until tender.

  3. Step 3

When the meat is almost cook, add the green beans and the carrots and simmer for 2 minutes, do not over cook the vegetables. Take it out from the heat and let it cool.

  4. Step 4

Prepare the egg roll wrapper. Unfold the wrapper one by one to prevent it from sticking. Spread it in an aluminum foil or in a big dish.

  5. Step 5

Put 1 tablespoon of the mixed vegetables in the egg roll wrapper one by one and wrap the vegetables. Seal the end side with water to keep it intact when frying them. Place the egg roll in a plate or baking dish.

  6. Step 6

When you are done wrapping the vegetables, heat the oil in a skillet. You can deep fry the egg roll or you can bake it. If you don't like too much oil in your food, you can bake the egg roll until crispy. Same thing when you are frying it, take it out when it turns brown and crispy.

  7. Step 7

Drain the egg roll in a towel paper or table napkin if you are using deep oil frying. But if you bake the egg roll, just put it in a plate when it is done. Serve it with ketchup or with your favorite egg roll sauce.
