Step 1
Plan a date night and take your spouse out for the evening go to dinner. Hire a babysitter and take your spouse out to a restaurant for dinner, it doesn't have to be a very fancy place but going out without the kids can make it such a relaxing experience.
-
Step 2
Need to go grocery shopping? Take your spouse again without kids and see what a different experience it will be. Talk to your spouse, go for a drive on a Sunday and just enjoy the day. Make sure you discuss your week or goings on in the upcoming weeks. Stop at little shops and walk around, appreciate what your spouse admires, and talk about it. Get to know what they might like to shop for and just window shop.
-
Step 3
If your spouse is into an outside of house activity, pottery, sports, book clubs. Get involved go with them meet their friends. Sharing these things. Sunday mornings get up and go to a local café for coffee and conversation. This works great to keep communication flowing. Don't forget to hold hands whenever you are together, this is something that is rare and reaffirms a closeness with each other.

Step 4
text message each other throughout the day. With txt messaging bundle plans allowing unlimited txt messages send your wife or husband a text and simply say "i love you" or, "love you". This is so simple yet means soo much.
