With today’s economy, families are staying home more often, so what kind of fun can we have with our families that are fun and cheap…

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

How about the movies on an average movie tickets go for about $7.50 a ticket, but make sure that you eat before you go this will prevent all the extra spending on popcorn and soda, but if you must snack while watching try sharing.

  2. Step 2

What about a week end camping trip the average camp site is about $30.00 per night, eat cheap cook hotdogs, eggs, PB&J’s but don’t forget the SMORES! Campgrounds have pools or a nearby lake, parks, fishing holes, and during the summer months most campgrounds will have special events going on like a firework display around the 4th of July.

  3. Step 3

The local zoo is another great place to enjoy a beautiful afternoon, pack a picnic lunch to avoid extra spending. A daily pass can be expensive but for around $60 - $100 you can buy annual passes for the whole family and enjoy them lions, tigers and bears as often as you want.
