This company has more than 200 locations in North America, and has annual sales of nearly $210 million. Although the positions of selling Cutco knives are targeted at students, most anyone can apply. You just need to be at least 17 or 18 years old and have a high-school diploma.

Visit the Cutco website (see resources) to the "How to Sell" page. If you live in Canada, click on the "Canada" hot link. then find the province you live in and call the corresponding phone number. If your province isn't listed, call Cutco's Customer Service department at 1-800-361-8800.

Click on the Cutco "International" hot link if you live outside of the United States and Canada. Find your specific country in the list and click on that link to find further information. Sell Cutco knives if you live in the United States by simply clicking on the "Apply Now" link. Fill in the application with your e-mail address, name, phone numbers, street address and education. You'll also need to answer two questions about working with people and your hobbies and interests.

Submit your application to sell Cutco knives. If you're accepted, you'll be trained in three half-day sessions. Learn about the company and their products, how to deal with people, set up sales calls, write up orders and sell Cutco knives. You will not be paid for your training.

Purchase a set of Cutco knives at a discounted price to use as samples during your sales calls. The retail cost of the knives is $400.

Set up sales calls with your family, friends and neighbors to sell them Cutco knives first. Use your handouts, catalogs and samples to show the products Cutco has. Write up their orders and receive payments. Then, ask for referrals to line up even more appointments. You'll also do telemarketing.
