Since their introduction in 2005, Ganz's Webkinz virtual pets have become extremely popular with children. The Dallas Morning News reported that over two million had been sold as of July 2007, with no sign of sales slowing. Part of the attraction is the online component. After purchasing a Webkinz plush animal toy, users can sign up for the interactive Webkinz World site. There, children can register and name their pets, play games, and build and design a virtual house for their animals. Webkinz World is constantly adding new features, and one of the more interesting is the Webkinz Studio, which allows children to produce short "television shows" starring their Webkinz pets. Anyone with access to Webkinz World can easily setup their own Webkinz Studio.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

A Webkinz World account 1,000 available KinzCash

Step 1

Logon to your account at Webkinz World. Access the W Store.
Step 2

Navigate to the "Toys and Books" section of the W Store. Scroll through the listed items and select the Webkinz Studio. The Webkinz Studio costs 1,000 KinzCash to purchase.
Step 3

Place the Webkinz Studio in your Webkinz pet's room. To start using the studio, have your Webkinz pet walk up to the studio and open it.
Step 4

Choose a title for your new Webkinz Studio show. Also, select a background, sky appearance, and music for your show. Click "Next."
Step 5

Design your first scene by selecting your actors, camera angles, dialog, and emotions, clicking "Next" after each choice. Click "Next Scene" to design the next scene. When you are finished designing your show, click the "End Show" button. You can now play your show, go back and edit it or save the show by choosing one of the options on the screen.
