Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Place the jasmine tree somewhere where it will have indirect sunlight during the day. It will do well in partial shade areas as long as it is warm.

    • 2

Keep the soil moist, but not overly wet. The pot must have proper drainage so the roots do not sit in a soaking wet soil. During the winter months, the tree needs less water than it does during the spring and summer.

    • 3

Add fertilizer during the spring so that the tree gets the nutrients it needs to flourish and blossom.

    • 4

Pinch the tips of the jasmine to promote new growth. Prune the tree regularly to contain the growth of the tree.

    • 5

Keep the jasmine in a climate with nighttime temperatures of 55 degrees and daytime temperatures of 72 degrees.

    • 6

Pick jasmine flowers to make tea in the morning before the buds have opened.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you buy a jasmine tree or seeds to plant indoors, you should do this in the fall. This gives the plant a better chance of growing to be healthy.
