Things You'll Need:
- Microsoft PowerPoint PowerPoint-to-Flash conversion application

Step 1
Create a slide presentation in PowerPoint. Avoid using complex graphics and animations, as they may not import well into a Flash application.

Save the PowerPoint presentation as a PPT file.

Download and install a PowerPoint-to-Flash conversion utility application.

Open the conversion application. Click "New" from the top navigation bar to create a new project.

Click "Add Files" and select the PPT file to be converted.

Select the Output File Type. Be sure to select SWF or FLV for a Flash video slideshow.

Click "OK" to begin the conversion process. A progress indicator displays a success message once the file has been converted.

Navigate to the new Flash file in Windows Explorer and verify the slideshow file in the Adobe Flash player.

Open Adobe Flash.

Click "New" on the top tool bar to begin a new Flash project.

Set the size of the stage. The stage should be a bit larger than the photos you will be importing.

Specify a background color or image for the presentation. Right-click on the background in the presentation and select "Properties." Specify the image and/or background color.

Import a series of photos onto the presentation stage. Click "File," "Import" from the top navigation menu. Select the photos and click "OK." To select more than one photo, hold the "Ctrl" key down during selection.

Save the file.

Create a Flash file by making a Flash movie. Click on "Tools" from the top navigation menu and select "Create Flash Movie." The Flash movie created will be a slideshow of photos.
