How to Make Blooming Tea
Tea lovers enjoy the striking flavor of different blooming tea recipes. Things You'll Need
- 6 to 10 tea blooms (See "Tips" section) 4 cups water Glass cookware pot Wooden spoon Heat-resistant glass teapot

Fill a glass cookware pot with 4 cups of water. Turn the burner on high heat. Bring the water to a rolling boil. Turn off the burner.

Place 2 to 4 tea blooms (depending how strong you want the blooming tea) in the water in the cookware pot. Submerse the tea blooms using a wooden spoon. Hold each bloom under the water for one minute. Remove the wooden spoon.

Steep the tea blooms for 5 to 10 minutes (depending how strong you want the blooming tea). Remove the pan from the heat source.

Make an attractive floral arrangement with the remaining tea blooms in the bottom of a heat-resistant teapot.

Pour the liquid from the glass cookware pot into the heat-resistant teapot. Serve hot or cold in tea cups.

Tips & Warnings
Popular tea blooms include: Jasmine, Lily, Marigold and Globe Amaranth. Place a tea blossom in the bottom of a clear tea cup when serving blooming tea. Follow recipe instructions for making variations of blooming tea.
Do not use nonstick-coated, metal or copper pots when making blooming tea. Doing so will ruin the flavor of this tea.
