Rolling your own cigarettes can be cheaper than buying cigarettes at the store. You can roll them by hand, using rolling papers and your favorite tobacco. But, unless you've had lots of practice, the result can be an uneven roll, with tobacco spilling from both ends and the cigarette burning unevenly. By using a rolling machine, you can obtain a smooth, even roll every time and reduce your waste of tobacco.

How to Roll Cigarettes with a Cigarette Rolling Machine

  1. Step 1

Open the tobacco chamber by pushing back the compressor handle. When it opens, place your tobacco on top of the unit, enough to make three to four cigarettes.

  2. Step 2

Fill the corners of the unit's chamber, then press enough tobacco into the chamber to make one cigarette.

  3. Step 3

Push a cigarette tube onto the tube holder and gently push it over the nozzle.

  4. Step 4

Close the tobacco chamber by pulling forward the handle of the compressor. This will pack the tobacco into the shape of a cigarette and chop off extra tobacco that might be protruding from the ends.

  5. Step 5

Fill the tube with tobacco by pushing the slide all the way to the left.

  6. Step 6

Push the slide back to the right and open the tobacco chamber by pushing back the handle of the compressor. This frees your completed cigarette from the unit.

Tips & Warnings
  • You might need to experiment with your roller a time or two to determine the proper amount of tobacco to use.
