How to Be Intuitive

Neuroscientists have recently discovered that the brain has two physical reactions to recognizing and correcting an error. The reaction manifests itself as that feeling in the back of your mind that something is wrong or that you have made a poor decision. In layman's terms, intuition. In order to recognize this feeling, however, your body must be programmed to understand a specific subject, and you must be in the right frame of mind.

Instructions

  1. Practice and Immersion

Choose a subject, sport or hobby that you would like to develop intuitive responses to. You can choose anything - golf, management or psychology, for example

    • 2

Practice the skills necessary to become better at your chosen subject. For example, spend a lot of time on the driving range if you want to become an intuitive golfer.

    • 3

Read anything and everything appropriate to your chosen subject. Immerse yourself in that world, so you are constantly surrounded by it . Don't go overboard and neglect your job or family, of course, but make it your primary hobby.

    Boost Mental Health and Relaxation

    • 4

Focus and pay attention at all times. Do not allow yourself to be distracted while you are practicing and immersing yourself in your chosen subject. The intuitive mind must be sharp and focused.

    • 5

Balance your sharp and focused mind by giving it some relaxation. Let your mind wander and rest by taking time for yourself. Locate a lake, a river or another natural quiet spot where you can meditate, pray or simply relax and take in nature's beauty.

    • 6

Play games and let your mind have fun. Engage in playtime with your children or peers. This will keep your mind sharp and focused while still allowing you to have fun and contribute to the world around you.

    • 7

Explore other avenues of self-expression, such as the arts: painting, sculpting or writing. Try to relate those activities to the subject you wish to become more intuitive in.

    • 8

Combine all your mental development exercises with the subject you wish to become intuitive in. This will boost all-around intuition.

Tips & Warnings

  • Allow yourself plenty of time to practice, immerse, relax and meditate. Be patient; intuition is not developed overnight.
