      Download free software to your computer. Videora.com has free video converting software for the Nano, Classic and Touch. Choose the correct software for your version of the iPod. The software is about 50 MB so it will take 10 to 15 minutes.

      Open the video converting software. Then open the movie you want to convert within inside the video converting program. Follow the on-screen instructions for converting the file.

      Save the movie file in a folder on your computer. Select the movie file and drag it into your iPod folder, into the iTunes library or onto your iPod icon on your desktop.
