How to Make a Pineapple Upside Down Cake with cherries

This is an easy way to make a pineapple upside down cake.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 box of butter recipe moist cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • butter
  • can of sliced pineapples
  • brown sugar
  • maraschino cherries
  1. Step 1

    Pre Heat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Step 2

    Spray an 8x8 cake pan with cooking spray and set aside.

  3. Step 3

    Pour the box of Butter Cake mix into a bowl. Crack 3 eggs into the bowl with the dry cake mix, add 1/2 cup of butter to the mix. Beat until smooth. Set the mix aside.

  4. Step 4

    In the pan sprayed with cooking spray, add 1 layer of pineapple slices. In the middle of each pineapple slice add a maraschino cherry.

  5. Step 5

    In another bowl mix the pineapple juice (from the can that you just got the pineapples out of) and 1/2 cup of brown sugar until smooth.

  6. Step 6

    Pour the pineapple juice and brown sugar mixture on top of the pineapple and cherries.

  7. Step 7

    Pour cake mix on top of the cherries, brown sugar mixture, and pineapples.

  8. Step 8

    Put the cake into the oven and bake at 350 until golden brown.

  9. Step 9

    Once the cake is done and cooled flip the cake upside down on a platter, cut it up and enjoy.
