Step 1
Understand what cookies are. A cookie is a piece of information (you can think of it as a sticky note) that a website or someone has stored on your browser with some information. Some banks use cookies to verify information about you (but you can always get that back), but most of the time websites put tracking cookies to see where you have been etc.

Step 2
Open up Internet Explorer.
These directions are for internet explorer 7, but are similar for other versions. -
Step 3
In Internet Explorer, go to the Tools Menu. This will be on the right hand side of the Internet Explorer Browser with an arrow to drop down options.
In older versions of Internet Explorer, this is in the top left section of the browser. -
Step 4
From the Tools Menu, select "Delete browsing History." This should bring up a dialog box with options of what you can delete from Internet Explorer.

Step 5
In this browser, there is a "Cookies" section. You should see a "Delete Cookies" button on the right hand side. Click this button to delete cookies from Internet Explorer.

Step 6
You can also delete your browsing history and other stored information on your browser if you want.
