How to make a blue cheese vinaigrette

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • vegetables of your choice
  1. Step 1

If you love blue cheese and you love vinaigrette salad dressing then you will love this dressing. The kids who claim they do not like blue cheese even like this dressing. It is a little tangy. You will need a blender or food processor for this recipe. You will first make your salad adding the vegetables of your choice.

  2. Step 2

Then in the food processor you will add the cider vinegar, sugar, 1/2 cup blue cheese, onion, mustard, garlic, and salt. You will now cover and process until smooth. While you are processing you will need to slowly add the oil in a steady stream until the consistency of dressing is reached.

  3. Step 3

Once you reach the desired consistency you will then stir in the remaining half cup of crumbled blue cheese. You will need to pour over the salad at the time of serving. This will need to be stored in the refrigerator until time of use. You will also need to refrigerate the leftover dressing.
